Dates: 01.05.2021 - 20.01.2022 Finish Place: Весь мир / Anywhere Subevent: » Balloon Live Contest 2021 Description: The Balloon Live Contest is a decentralised balloon competition organised by the FAI Ballooning Commission (CIA). Participating pilots from different countries compete against each other in challenging and interesting task settings while flying in their area and country. After the first edition (limited to a few countries only), all countries are open to fly in. Pilots from all countries can participate. 4-8 tasksheets will be available to fly over a longer period. Normally only one scoring flight is possible per task sheet and per pilot. The Event will start on 01.05.2021 with the publication of the General Briefing information.

The publication of the first task sheet will be within a few days after the General Briefing information.

The time period, during which the TDS may be flown, is defined for each TDS individually.

The last possible flying day will be 31.12.2021 unless a different date is indicated in the TDS.

The publication of the final results is planned to be latest on 20.01.2022.

Мероприятие начнется 01.05.2021 г. с публикации примечаний Генерального брифинга.

Публикация первого Листа задания - в течение нескольких дней после Генерального брифинга.

Период времени, в течение которого можно выполнять конкретный Лист заданий, определяется для каждого Листа индивидуально.

Последний возможный полетный день - 31.12.2021, если в Листе заданий не указана другая дата.

Публикация окончательных результатов планируется не позднее 20.01.2022.

The event is open to all pilots with a valid pilot license for hot air balloons and familiar with the rules of the event.
Participating pilots assure that at registration and for all competition flights they have all privileges of their license to fly a balloon (valid medical, valid pilot license, recency…).

Мероприятие открыто для всех пилотов с действующей лицензией на пилотирование тепловых аэростатов и знакомых с Правилами мероприятия.
Участвующие пилоты гарантируют, что при регистрации и на все соревновательные полеты у них есть все привилегии их лицензии на полет на тепловом аэростате (действующая медицинская справка, действующая лицензия пилота…).

Приём заявок - до 31.07.2021.

Prizes for the overall winners will normally be:

• 1st place      1000€
• 2nd place      500€
• 3rd place       300€

These prizes will be confirmed latest by the closing entry date and will depend on the number of registered participants and sponsors.

As this is a decentralised competition, the rules have been slightly modified from the normal AXMER rules. In section III, the non-relevant parts have simply been deleted. The additional and new wordings are marked in green. The numbering of the rules has been adapted in section I and II, but not in section III. 

As stated in the rules, questions may be submitted to contest@balloonlive.org up to 48 hours after the publication of these notes, e.g. on Monday 3rd of May at 09:00 UTC. Answers will be published here latest on Tuesday 4th of May at 09:00 UTC.

The publication of the first task sheet is planned for Wednesday.

A Whatsapp group has also been set up and you will receive an email to join the group. Please do not use the group for discussions as it is meant for announcements only. All request and questions should be addressed by email to contest@balloonlive.org.

Поскольку это децентрализованное соревнование, правила были немного изменены по сравнению с обычными правилами AXMER. В разделе III нерелевантные части просто удалены. Дополнительная и новая формулировки выделены зеленым. Нумерация правил была изменена в разделах I и II, но не в разделе III.

Как указано в правилах, вопросы можно отправлять по адресу contest@balloonlive.org в течение 48 часов после публикации этих заметок, то есть до 09:00 UTC понедельника, 3 мая. Ответы будут опубликованы на официальной электронной доске не позднее вторника, 4 мая, в 09:00 UTC.

Публикация первого листа заданий запланирована на среду.
